The first question is what you already have. A finished recording, a written script and a one-sentence idea require different production steps. Comparing tools by a single “AI video” label hides those differences.

This comparison comes from the Korpi AI team. It reviews current public documentation, not controlled rendering tests. Public sources were checked on September 8, 2026. The evidence below separates documented capabilities from details that remain unknown.

If you have a recording

Start by testing a clipping workflow on one representative video. For example, use an interview you recorded and identify one complete answer you would want to share. Review whether the resulting excerpt preserves the question, answer and any qualification that changes its meaning.

Korpi offers Auto Clipper alongside its original-video creators. OpusClip is another documented option for clipping existing recordings. Neither a feature list nor a “viral” score proves which candidate you should publish. Korpi's clipping guide, OpusClip.

If you have a script or idea

Look for the format you want to produce. A narrated opinion over gameplay has different review needs from an illustrated story. Check the title treatment, voice, caption timing and whether the visual format fits the script.

Korpi has dedicated creators for formats such as Roblox Rant and Reddit Story. Viblo also documents text-based generation. Agent Opus is a separate named generation workflow; do not assume a description of OpusClip's clipping product covers it. Roblox Rant, Viblo text-to-video, Agent Opus.

What to compare before paying

Use the same billing cadence and check what each allowance measures. Processing minutes, video allowances and AI credits are different units. Look at the cost of one representative job, not only the subscription headline.

Check whether “free” means watching a sample, using prepared demo content, generating with a trial allowance, or downloading a custom export. Record watermarks and export restrictions separately. If the product page does not explain a limit, leave it unknown until the vendor or current creator screen answers it.

Choose the tool whose documented workflow matches your input, then review an actual output. If you need both new stories and clips from recordings, test both paths before replacing your current setup.

OpusClip

Existing-video clipping. Current pricing lists Starter $15/month and Pro $29/month. The paid-plan table lists voiceover and publishing features, so describing all workflows as manual or source-audio-only is too broad.

Not verified: Keeper rate on the buyer's footage; fresh export test.

Agent Opus

Text, scripts or a blog URL to a generated video. Its first-party faceless workflow lists generated visuals, narration and motion graphics. Treat it separately from the clipping product.

Not verified: Price/credit equivalence with OpusClip; hands-on generation results.

Sources, checked 2026-09-08: Faceless workflow

Korpi’s prices above refer to monthly billing. Check each checkout and job estimate for current allowances. Agent Opus has its own workflow; inclusion in an OpusClip subscription was not verified.
